NATUREMAX BIO is a natural, extremely lightweight filtration media designed for small and large aquarium filters. Thanks to its unique structure and ideal microporous properties, it provides an excellent environment for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria.

How does it work? The microporous structure of NATUREMAX BIO ensures optimal conditions for colonization by nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, allowing the insert to remove nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia from the water. Additionally, NATUREMAX BIO is a natural media that does not alter the pH, KH, or GH values of the water, which is important for maintaining stable parameters.

Where to use it? NATUREMAX BIO is extremely versatile and can be used in various types of aquarium filters – both internal and external – as well as filtration systems. NATUREMAX BIO is a lightweight insert that does not significantly increase the weight of the filter, which positively affects the ease of servicing.

How long does it last? NATUREMAX BIO is a durable media that does not decompose. Cleaning the insert involves rinsing it in aquarium water. It is recommended to perform a partial replacement of about 50% of the insert every 4-6 months.
