Description
NANO MAX BIO is a high-performance media designed for biological filtration in aquariums. It consists of balls with a diameter of about 30 mm, which were produced using innovative technology that combines micro-ceramic particles. It is particularly recommended for large canister filters. Available in a 1-liter package.
How does it work? NANO MAX BIO balls feature a compact structure and high density, making them an excellent environment for the development of beneficial nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. Thanks to their impressive surface area, which is approximately 2000 m2 per liter, these balls provide excellent conditions for the growth and reproduction of filter bacteria that effectively remove harmful substances from the water in your aquarium.
NANO MAX BIO can be successfully used in various types of filters and filtration systems; however, due to its size, we particularly recommend it for large canister filters or sumps.
How long does it last? The media is not only extremely effective but also exceptionally durable and resistant to the effects of both freshwater and saltwater. This means you can enjoy long-lasting, reliable biological filtration in your aquarium, which has a significant impact on the health and well-being of your fish and the overall stability of the aquatic environment. Cleaning the media involves rinsing it in aquarium water. It is recommended to perform a partial replacement of about 50% of the media every 4-6 months.
