MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 is a unique insert for the AQUAEL MULTIKANI filter, designed specifically for biological water filtration. It is intended for use in freshwater and marine aquariums, paludariums, aquaterrariums, and terrarium pools. It consists of cylinders made of porous ceramic material, offering an impressive filtration surface area of 600 m2.

The operation of the insert involves the colonization of its surface by beneficial nitrifying bacteria, such as Nitrosomonas and Nitrospira. These microorganisms neutralize toxic metabolic waste products for fish, such as ammonia and nitrites, converting them into much safer nitrates through their life processes. It is particularly recommended for tanks with large fish and a high number of fish.

How to use MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600?
The insert should be screwed into the filter, placing it behind the mechanical filtration inserts and before the chemical filtration inserts, which ensures optimal results. One module can be sufficient for filtering an aquarium with a capacity of 320l, with the MULTIKANI filter expanded to 8 modules.

To maintain the highest quality of filtration, it is recommended to replace about one third of the insert with a new one every 6-12 months. The insert should be rinsed in water drained from the aquarium during filter cleaning. It is important to avoid washing the insert in running tap water to prevent its sterilization.
