NITRAX - GREEN ANTI-NITRATE SPONGE
Nitrax reduces the nitrate level in the aquarium, leading to a significant decrease in algae growth. Nitrax is a biological filter containing specialized microorganisms for breaking down toxic substances (ammonia/nitrite) in the aquarium, thus reducing the risk of fish mortality. Nitrax also reduces algae growth through anaerobic decomposition of nitrates, which increases fish vitality.
To renew the bacterial cultures, it is recommended to replace the sponge every 8 weeks.
