Description
Safe is the ideal preparation for neutralizing the toxicity of ammonia, ammonium, and nitrites, which allows the biofilter to remove them more efficiently. The product is non-acidic and does not affect the pH of the water. It does not cause excessive activation of foamers. Use when starting the tank and with every addition or exchange of water.
How to use:
To reduce chlorine and chloramine
Use 1.25g of the product for every 1250L of water,
To reduce ammonia
Use 1.25g of the product for every 300L of water.
The conditioner can be added directly to the aquarium.
In case of exceptionally high concentrations of chloramine, a double dose can be safely used. To detoxify nitrites and nitrates in emergencies, up to 4 times the normal dose can be used.
If the temperature is > 30 °C, and the level of chlorine or ammonia is low, use half the normal dose.
