Oase AquaActiv BioKick Fresh 500 ml - bacterial starter

Highly active starter bacteria Oase AquaActiv BioKick Fresh activate the important biology of the pond in spring or during the first startup of the filter. Over 1 billion active microorganisms per ml (at the time of filling) accelerates the colonization of your filter sponges with valuable filtering bacteria. Additionally, nitrites, nitrates, ammonium, and ammonia are broken down particularly quickly. Thanks to this starter, the pond filter will achieve full efficiency within two weeks.

Oase AquaActiv Biokick Fresh consists of two components: dry bacteria and a nutrient solution. Just before use, they are mixed together. This way, a fresh and highly effective concentration of bacteria is created within 20 minutes.

We recommend turning off the UVC lamp for the first 10-14 days after adding the starter cultures. UVC radiation can disrupt the functioning of the starter bacteria and kill the already established filtering bacteria.

450 ml of nutrient solution and 50 g of bacteria concentrate is sufficient for ponds with a volume of up to max. 10 m³
