Fantastic handmade sculpted and painted piece:
This is undoubtedly the greatest advantage of the background. The deep rock shape is maximally diverse to look as realistic as possible. Additionally, there are numerous grooves and bulges to maintain a natural disorder. Hand painting complements the character in harmony with the original nature. The decorative coating of the background is as hard as stone and also allows for climbing.
Handmade:
The background is entirely produced by hand. Therefore, each one is different in terms of rock shape and final colors - the latter do not differ much and fit within the color range shown in the photos.
Sealing foam on the sides:
It provides a perfect fit for the background and prevents substrate or feeder animals from getting behind the background. The foam is attached with natural glue.
For which terrarium?
The background fits perfectly into original terrariums from Repti-Zoo and Wacool and is specifically designed for tanks from this manufacturer. It can also be used in Repti-Planet and Exo Terra and in any other tank with external dimensions of 45x45x60cm.
Installation method:
The background just needs to be placed inside the terrarium. The perfect fit (for Repti-Zoo and Wacool) and foam means that the background does not require gluing or any other installation method. Natural glue was used to attach the foam. It is safe for animals, but its drawback is that it evaporates quickly. Therefore, after unpacking, you should put the background into the terrarium immediately. Before introducing the reptile, the terrarium should be ventilated for about 60 minutes (just enough time to arrange the rest of the decorations).
