Description
What can the Smart ATO DUO G2 be used for?
- water refill from the reserve tank to the main tank or sump
- automatic filling of tanks
Don't worry anymore about the refill getting stuck and overflowing your tank. From now on, this clever gadget will take care of that. Just install the optical sensor on any tank / bucket / pitcher, and it will fill the water to the eye level. No tools are required for installation. Additionally, there is no unreliable float valve (WC) that could fail.
Optical sensor and installation method:
This is a much better solution than a regular float! But that's not all. The sensor from the AutoAqua set has a dual "eye," providing double control over the situation.
The sensor is installed quickly and easily using a strong magnet. Therefore, you can install the eye anywhere. Maximum glass thickness is 12.7mm
QST (Quick Security Technology) Safety Program:
The smart refill will not allow the tank to overflow, even in the event of a system failure. Why? If the first filling of the tank took 10 seconds, then no subsequent filling can exceed 60 seconds. That means it allows a maximum of 6 times more than the first time. This way, we eliminate the possibility of overflowing the aquarium in case of a sensor failure or contamination, rule out computer error, and protect the pump from running dry when the reserve is emptied.
Use the touch button (the DUO label on the computer) to "cancel" the alarm.
Other safeguards:
With the help of sound signals and a combination of colored LED lights, the computer will inform you of any possible problems. For example: incorrectly connected pump, conflicting readings from the eye - possible contamination of the eye, no filling for 72 hours, and other cases dependent and independent of the Smart ATO DUO.
Additionally, the set includes an air inlet installed on the tube in the reserve tank. It allows water to be removed from the tube when the pump is not operating.
