Description
The excellent innovative packaging "Nitro Pack" ensures the freshness of the product and exceptionally efficient hatching.
Feeding live brine shrimp as food for fry or small fish has many benefits. The most important of these are the nutritional values and the appropriate size of the food. It is important to remember that a proper diet is the foundation for healthy fry growth.
Dedicated to freshwater and saltwater tanks.
Hatching Instructions:
Add 25g to 35g (+/- 1 tablespoon) of sea salt per liter of water and add +/- 2g of ON Brine Shrimp Eggs per 1 liter. (For precise measuring, we recommend the Multi Digital Spoon)
If using table salt, it is best to add +/- 3g (1 teaspoon) of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).
Tap water can be used.
Pour the salted water into a conical-shaped container, where the tip will be facing down (we recommend JBL Artemio Set) with the air pump running.
Ensure that the water temperature is maintained in the range of 26° - 29° during the incubation period. (Do not exceed 30°C). The air hose should reach the bottom of the hatching vessel to ensure vigorous and uniform mixing. An air stone is not recommended. Add the eggs to the hatching water and ensure that the air keeps the eggs suspended. Very small, almost microscopic Artemia will hatch within 18 to 30 hours.
After 24 hours, stop aerating and wait 10 minutes for the Artemia to settle at the bottom. The empty shells will float on the surface. Pour the Artemia onto a net and rinse carefully with tap water before feeding to the animals.
