The hood features a patented opening system SMART OPEN. This eliminates the need for hinges and supports, allowing for convenient maintenance tasks inside the tank. The hood also has special grooves at the back that allow for easy cutting of holes for the installation of any type of canister filter (a hood with such cutouts does not void the manufacturer's warranty). It is equipped with an exceptionally large flap for easy feeding of fish.
