Phoenix X Controller - more about the features:
It is equipped with two independent channels, each of which can be programmed separately.
- Thermostat:
One of the channels is integrated with a microprocessor thermostat. This means that one of the 230V outputs can regulate the temperature inside the terrarium/aquarium/growbox and others. The thermostat can raise or lower the temperature using appropriate devices. You can set different temperatures for day and night.
- Timer:
It turns on and off connected devices at a given time, programmed by the user with an accuracy of 1 minute.
- Alarm:
In case your external devices (heating cable, heating bulb, etc.) are unable to heat the terrarium (e.g., due to a burned-out bulb), the Phoenix X will alert you. A beeping sound will activate. You set the alarm threshold, that is, when the mechanism should turn on.
Construction of the Phoenix X Controller:
- Probe:
The temperature measurement is provided by a small-sized probe. This sensor is placed on a sufficiently long cable - 150cm.
- LCD Display:
The external placement of the display significantly facilitates operation and maintains aesthetics. Place the display, for example, on the terrarium (mounting tape included) for easy access. Place the 230V sockets under the cabinet. They do not have to be visible.
- Integrated system - microprocessors Andromeda Computers:
The operation and programming of the accessory are managed by high-quality electronic components, including processors and integrated circuits produced by Andromeda Computers. This system guarantees reliability, precision of operation, stability, and comfort of programming.
Andromeda Computers, where did they come from?
The manufacturer of electronic components acquired the capability to produce thermostats/hygrostats/electronic timers. They "put" their proven technology inside. This way, new devices appeared on the market, not only in the zoological field.
Example configuration of the device:
- Connect a heating device (lamp, mat, cable) to the first channel and set a time interval, e.g., 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Set the temperature for this interval, e.g., 38ºC. Set a second time interval from 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM and the temperature to 22ºC.
- Connect a UVB lamp to the second channel and set the time interval from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- The device is ready for operation. At 8 AM, the "sun will rise," meaning the UVB bulbs will turn on. After an hour, when the sun is higher, the temperature in the terrarium will start to rise to 38 degrees. Before evening, just before sunset, the temperature will drop, and after an hour, the sun will set - the UVB lights will turn off. The thermostat maintains a temperature of 22 degrees throughout the night until the next day.
