Created by the team at Aquaforest, Hybrid Pro Salt is the most advanced aquarium salt formula. Many years of observing aquariums maintained with natural seawater or pure laboratory-grade salt led us to create a hybrid salt that combines the advantages of both methods. To meet the demands of modern aquaristics and the most delicate marine organisms, we enriched the unique formula with probiotic bacteria.

The values of the elements contained in the Hybrid Pro Salt mix were established together with the best chemists and biologists, based on the natural environment of corals. To this end, we collected water samples from natural coral reefs in Egypt, Kenya, Indonesia, and Fiji. This gave us confidence that the parameters obtained after preparing the saltwater perfectly meet the needs of even the most demanding corals. Unlike the ocean, an aquarium is a closed system where the consumption of selected elements occurs much faster, which is why we decided to raise the levels of the most frequently consumed trace elements such as strontium and iodine.

Dosing and Storage
- Hybrid Pro Salt should be dissolved in RODI water at a temperature of 24-25°C
- To achieve a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 S.G), dissolve 390 g in 10 liters of RODI water
- The solution should be mixed vigorously for about 15 minutes. Once fully dissolved and achieving complete clarity, the saltwater is ready for use
- The prepared saltwater should be used within 3 days. Evaporation alters water parameters, so store the prepared saltwater tightly sealed. If you store the prepared saltwater for several days, check its salinity before use
- Store the salt tightly closed in a dry and shaded place

Good to know
- To facilitate the proliferation of probiotic bacteria, we recommend maintaining dKH at a level of 7.5-8.5. A higher or lower level may reduce bacterial activity
- When setting up new aquariums, we recommend introducing the first animals no earlier than 10-14 days after filling the tank
