ERH-AQ1 Combined Probe / Electrode

The combined electrode, type ERH-AQ1, is a measuring cell designed for periodic or continuous pH measurements in aqueous solutions, especially in freshwater or marine aquariums. It can be used both in laboratory and field conditions. The electrode has a glass body with two ceramic electrolytic connectors (diaphragms) embedded in the wall. The use of two connectors ensures good contact of the reference half-cell with the sample. Easy access to the membrane and connectors facilitates cleaning of the electrode. The electrode uses a replaceable reference solution, with the addition of a viscosity-increasing agent, which limits the amount of electrolyte leakage. The ability to replace the reference solution significantly extends the electrode's service life. In the standard version, the ERH-AQ1 electrode is equipped with a protective cap that protects the ion-sensitive membrane from mechanical damage. To effectively suppress disturbances caused by the presence of electrostatic charges, the electrode uses a shielded cable with an additional semiconductive layer. The length of the cable has been increased to 2 meters, which facilitates the installation of the electrode in larger aquariums.
