Yes. The air pump will start using its battery if there is a power failure.

Does it switch back to electric power when it becomes available again?
Yes. The device will resume using power from the outlet once it is available again. Additionally, the AirPump will automatically recharge its battery to 100% to be ready for the next power outage.

How do I know if it is charged and how low the battery is?
