What is the difference between ACO Heavy Series and standard ACO from other manufacturers?
The Heavy Series features the same proven and simple engine design. However, slightly different materials were used for the production of individual, key components.

Piston is made from thermoplastic materials, constantly adjusting its volume to the shapes of the engine where, at high temperatures, distortions may occur only up to 0.1mm. Despite these small changes in the volume of metal due to temperature influence, the piston tightly fills the cylinder, maintaining the highest operational efficiency.

Cylinder and moving components are made from a high-strength aluminum alloy Zl102. The use of this more expensive material, compared to standard ACO materials, significantly affected the noise level, efficiency, and above all, the durability of the device.

Lubrication of the engine:
In the Heavy Series, ACO has eliminated lubrication of the engine with oils, lubricants, etc. The use of artificial lubrication is not effective over a longer period of time, as it can easily wear out. Instead, the walls of the cylinder and the piston are highly polished. This finish effectively, rather than artificially, reduces friction, while also affecting the operating temperature and power consumption.


What hoses does the pump support?
The pump comes with a connection hose to the splitter. This component supports standard hoses of sizes 4/6mm. For the aerator of the Heavy Series, U.S.Aqua Airline hoses are recommended.
