What is the difference between the ACO Heavy Series and regular ACO from other manufacturers?
The Heavy Series has the same proven and simple engine construction. However, slightly different materials were used for the production of individual, yet crucial components.

Piston is made from thermoplastic materials, constantly adjusting its volume to the shapes of the engine where, at high temperatures, distortions may occur reaching only 0.1mm. Despite these slight changes in the metal volume due to temperature influence, the piston tightly fills the cylinder, maintaining the highest efficiency of operation.

Cylinder and moving parts are made from high-strength aluminum alloy Zl102. The use of this more expensive material, compared to standard ACO materials, has noticeably affected the noise level, efficiency, and above all, the durability of the device.

Engine lubrication:
In the Heavy Series, ACO has eliminated the lubrication of the engine with oils, lubricants, etc. The use of artificial lubrication is not effective over a longer period of time, as it can easily wear out. Instead, the walls of the cylinder and the piston are highly polished. This finish realistically, not artificially, reduces friction, while also affecting the operating temperature and power consumption.


What hoses does the pump support?
The pump comes with a connecting hose for the splitter. This component supports standard hoses with sizes of 4/6mm. For the Heavy Series aerator, U.S.Aqua Airline hoses are recommended.
