What is the difference between ACO Heavy Series and regular ACO from other manufacturers?
The Heavy Series has the same proven and simple engine construction. However, slightly different materials were used for the production of each of the key components.

Piston is made of thermoplastic materials, constantly adjusting its volume to the shapes of the engine where, at high temperatures, distortions can reach only 0.1mm. Despite these slight changes in the volume of metal due to temperature effects, the piston tightly fills the cylinder, maintaining the highest efficiency of operation.

Cylinder and moving parts are made of high-strength aluminum alloy Zl102. The use of this more expensive material, compared to regular ACO materials, has noticeably affected the noise level, efficiency, and, above all, the durability of the device.

Lubrication of the engine:
In the Heavy Series, ACO has abandoned lubrication of the engine with oils, lubricants, etc. The use of artificial lubrication is not effective over a longer period, as it can wear out easily. Instead, the walls of the cylinder and the piston are highly polished. This finish realistically, not artificially, reduces friction while influencing the operating temperature as well as power consumption.

What hoses does the pump support?
The pump comes with a connecting hose for the splitter. This element supports standard hoses with sizes of 4/6mm. For the Heavy Series aerator, U.S.Aqua Airline hoses are recommended.
