Sintered ceramic fibers (not to be confused with ceramic sinter):
The ceramic mass is fired, creating small channels - this is how standard ceramic sinter is made. What is sintered ceramic fibers?
The ceramic mass is subjected to a high electromagnetic impulse, which forms fibers. They are then sintered, shaped under high pressure into a sinter, and fired again.
Thanks to this treatment, micro pores are created with a much smaller diameter and a far greater quantity than ordinary sinter. Fiber sinter is not only much denser but also harder and more durable than ordinary sinter. It does not "wear out" over time and does not crack.
