- excellent fertility and great nutrient exchange for plants
- natural and aesthetic appearance
- stabilizes pH and water hardness
- supports root and beneficial bacteria development for the aquarium
- easy to use, does not require pre-washing
- does not break down over time
- clarifies water

The application is simple and does not require pre-washing of the product. After "starting up" the aquarium, the substrate provides sufficient nutrients, which means that additional fertilizers are not necessary at the initial stage. Our product is perfect for both experienced breeders and those beginning their adventure with aquaristics.

Aqua Soil is produced so that the granules have the maximum amount of pores, making them similar to activated carbon or ceramics. This promotes the colonization of a fleet of nitrifying bacteria from anaerobic strains that cannot compete with aerobic ones, which are abundant in the filter. The appropriate amount of anaerobic bacteria promotes faster and complete breakdown of NH3 and NH4, where, as you know, there is no oxygen.

Moreover, not only due to its porous surface but also because of its irregular shapes, the substrate can retain organic particles, clarifying the water. The "absorbed" suspension is gradually consumed by the bacteria inhabiting your substrate.

An additional important feature that we cannot overlook is its resistance to breakdown. The aquatic plant soil Chihiros is produced using a proprietary process that has excellent anti-breakdown properties. Its breakdown rate does not exceed 3%, and over three years it can be reused multiple times. It is specially designed for enthusiasts who like to experiment with their aquarium layout. In short, you can dig as much as you want, and the substrate will not break down. This is quite important because breaking down soil creates an impermeable mass that does not work at all and only causes algae and dirty water.
