The island is equipped with a filter that ensures the cleanliness of the water in the pool, which is crucial for maintaining the turtles' good health. Where is the water filter?
The filter is located inside the island. It is connected to its structure and pumps water out through two flat openings located at the top of the island. This creates a waterfall, and the basking turtles do not lose contact with the water, which they absolutely love.
On one of the side walls of the island, there is a recess for the power cable.

Can the filter be cleaned?
Yes. The filter is a simple design that has been used for years in m.in. aquaristics. It has a sponge insert that can be easily washed. Additionally, inside the filter, we will also find activated carbon placed in a clever container.

If you want to use the filter without connecting it to the island, there is no problem. The set includes appropriate additional connectors.
