What is the purpose of a turtle island?
Reptiles, amphibians, and other ectothermic animals living in a terrarium need appropriate conditions for proper development. Some of them spend time not only underwater but also on dry land, which serves as a place for resting, basking, and exposure to UVB light. An ideal solution is to place an island in the terrarium.
What characterizes the ZOOMED TURTLE DOCK island?
The island has a self-leveling feature, meaning it automatically adjusts to the current water level. A specially designed ramp, submerged in water, allows turtles to easily access the basking area. The island is made of a material that is resistant to damage and the claws of reptiles.
Installation:
The island comes with four suction cups that allow for easy installation in a terrarium or aquarium. The suction cups adhere strongly and stably to the glass.
