What is the purpose of a basking platform for turtles?
Reptiles, amphibians, and other ectothermic animals living in a terrarium require appropriate conditions for proper development. Some of them spend time not only underwater but also on dry land, which serves as a place for rest, basking, and exposure to UVB light. An ideal solution would be to place a basking platform in the terrarium.
What characterizes the ZOOMED TURTLE DOCK?
The platform features a self-leveling function, meaning it naturally adjusts to the current water level. A specially designed ramp, submerged in water, allows turtles to easily access the basking area. The platform is made from a material that is resistant to damage and the claws of reptiles.
Installation:
The platform comes with four suction cups that allow for easy installation in a terrarium or aquarium. The suction cups adhere strongly and stably to the glass.
