NEO Soil Shrimp substrate is designed for the ideal breeding conditions for shrimp. The substrate has many features that maintain the appropriate pH, KH, and GH of the water. Additionally, it supports plant growth, shrimp vitality, and promotes the development of nitrifying bacteria.

These benefits are due to special two-component substrate granules, which contain various types of soil inside.
The granules are coated with a special sintered clay that prevents the granules from breaking apart and provides excellent protection for the soil contained within against fragmentation and the high pressure that prevails in large aquariums.

The excellent water quality improves the quality of life for adult shrimp and increases the survival rate of young shrimp just after hatching and during the introduction of new shrimp or fish stock into the tank. In addition, the soil components strengthen the formation and texture of the shrimp's shell.

The soil creates a stable water quality just 7 days after flooding. Due to the special structure of the soil, which varies inside the granules, this soil has a lower weight and an excellent filtering effect.

In addition to reducing pH and water hardness, this soil also has other positive properties.
For example, bacteria are already present in the soil and become active when the soil comes into contact with water. The bacteria convert harmful substances that could harm shrimp or fish.

The rapid growth of bacteria is made possible by the presence of nutrients for aerobic and anaerobic nitrifying bacteria inside the granules. The maturation process of the aquarium is significantly faster and more stable due to these features.
Microscopic holes in the coating of the granules increase their surface area, thereby increasing the habitat for other important strains of bacteria.

Unlike other substrates, NEO Soil Compact also has an adsorption effect, providing excellent water clarity.
