The preparation lowers the pH level of water and carbonate hardness. 10 ml = 300 l×°n meaning that 10 ml of the preparation lowers the carbonate hardness of water by about 1 °n in 300 l of water.

dosing: the preparation is dosed after being diluted with water in a ratio of 1:100 (10 ml to about 1 l of water). The process of lowering pH or carbonate hardness should be done gradually and carefully, adding portions of the solution and measuring pH and hardness with Aquatest kits.
