Description
The cartridges are made of string (pure polypropylene fibre) wound in parallel around a positioning stem. They are ideal for removing mechanical impurities, such as sand, silt, rust, suspended solids, found in tap water.
They effectively contribute to the protection of domestic RO filter installations and household appliances from scale build-up. In string cartridges, water flows from its outer surface to the core. The density of the cartridge increases in the same direction so that larger particles are retained on the cartridge surface. The cartridges are designed for the treatment of cold potable water or general utility water. The cartridges should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or water of unknown origin.
