Description
BL10 series cartridges contain special sintered carbon with a high absorption capacity for chlorine and other volatile organic substances found in water. They are especially recommended for under-sink and reverse osmosis systems. Sintered carbon has a significantly larger surface area and also a higher number of chemically active centers, thereby increasing its practical efficiency by about 25%. This type of carbon cannot filter mechanically contaminated waters with particle diameters above 3 microns, as they clog the active centers of the carbon and reduce its filtration effectiveness. However, it is very effective for removing chlorine from waters containing colloidal and organic substances below 200 mg/l.
- economical cartridge made of sintered activated carbon containing bituminous coal
- the cartridge removes 99% of chlorine and 96% of lead from water
- used for cold potable water
- the surface of sintered carbon is almost twice as large as that of granulated carbon
- effectively eliminates bad taste and odor in water, as well as toxic organic compounds
- the cartridge has PZH hygienic approvals
- operating temperature from 2°C to 45°C
